FECC is part of a new project working with Z-Dust and Southern Company. The Kemper County energy facility is an electric power plant using an integrated gasification combined cycle (IGCC) design called TRIG™ technology. TRIG™ was developed over the last two decades at the Power Systems Development Facility (PSDF) in Wilsonville, Alabama - a research facility for the Department of Energy and Southern Company.

As of March 31st, FECC, Inc. has added a new Southwest Operations Manager based out of Texas. He will be responsible for business development and client support. Sites are currently under review for the FECC, Inc. Texas office.

In spring of 2015 FECC, Inc. completed one of the largest LDA thermal projects for the Department of Energy. Field work for the deep soil mixing project was at the Solid Waste Management Unit (SWMU) 1, also known as the C-747-C Oil Landfarm. The purpose of the project was to remove organic solvents from the soil down to a depth of approximately 60 feet.
